About Tbd

Fantastic secluded hunting opportunity in the heart of GMU #31, completely surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of BLM! Located 7.5 miles down BLM trails from the nearest county road, this large and diverse ranch offers unmatched privacy and recreation potential. The terrain varies dramatically, with deep canyons, ridges, grassy meadows, wooded thickets, and brush flats that provide excellent habitat for elk, mule deer, turkey, and more. On the property, improvements have been added to enhance both wildlife and hunter use. Several water catches and man-made water holes attract and hold game throughout the year. Multiple blinds are already set up, providing ready-made hunting locations. An older trapper’s cabin could be restored for primitive use, while a cleared site on the southeast corner is ideal for camping or building your own off-grid cabin. Adding to the turn-key appeal, a four-season camper is included in the sale, offering immediate comfort and use during hunts or recreation. Seasonal seeps and springs can be found across the land, with a historic spring once developed for use. Early-season archery elk hunts here can be exceptional thanks to thick cover of pinon, juniper, sage, and oak brush—ideal conditions for calling rutting bulls into bow range. The property also acts as a barrier to much of the surrounding BLM, creating added seclusion and hunting opportunity. Just minutes from De Beque and I-70, the trail in is in good condition, but 4WD/ATV/UTV is recommended. Off-grid living means no utilities are available, but the rugged seclusion is exactly what makes this property a true Colorado hunting getaway. Co-listed with Loren Williams of UC Ranch Properties
